Free diagnostic to approved repair

You see the findings and price before paid work starts.

The process stays simple, with another approval required if the scope or cost changes.

    01

    Tell us what is wrong

Send the device or service type, symptoms, and your location.

    02

    Confirm the job

Bricked Labs confirms whether it fits and recommends pickup, on-site service, arranged handoff, shipping, or remote support.

    03

    Diagnose it

The initial diagnostic is free. The problem and practical options are identified first.

    04

    Review the findings

You receive an explanation, a fixed quote, and an estimated turnaround based on the repair and parts availability.

    05

    Approve or decline

No paid work begins until you approve the quote. Declining the repair does not create a diagnostic charge.

    06

    Complete the approved work

If something changes the scope or cost, Bricked Labs asks before proceeding.

    07

    Return and payment

Payment is due no later than device return or handoff after the approved work is complete.

Flexible service

Local when hands-on work matters. Remote when it does not.

Local pickup

Pickup may be available around the East Valley when practical and arranged in advance.

On-site service

Business and home visits are available when the work is better handled where the equipment is installed.

Arranged handoff

Equipment handoff is appointment-based. Bricked Labs does not operate a public walk-in storefront.

Remote support

Software and configuration problems can often be handled securely without a local visit.

Hands-on service focuses on the East Valley. Shipping may be accepted where appropriate, but it is not the primary service model.

Data recovery scope

Recover the data without risking the source.

Bricked Labs handles deleted files, logical corruption, filesystem problems, and image-first recovery from readable media. Drives with physical or mechanical failure are stopped and referred to a specialist rather than opened or experimented on.

Independent service

Clear scope, useful referrals.

Bricked Labs works on Windows PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads, Android phones, and Android tablets, but remains independent and is not manufacturer-authorized. Apple accessories and wearables, manufacturer warranty work, microsoldering and board-level repair, and cleanroom or mechanical hard-drive recovery are not offered at launch.

Repair warranty

A straightforward 90-day repair warranty.

Bricked Labs stands behind qualifying completed repairs involving its workmanship and supplied parts for 90 days.

  • Qualifying Bricked Labs-supplied parts and workmanship are covered for 90 days.
  • Customer-supplied parts themselves are not warranted by Bricked Labs.
  • Bricked Labs workmanship involving customer-supplied parts is still covered.
  • Data-recovery outcomes are outside the standard repair warranty.
  • Specific exceptions and terms are explained during service when relevant.

Repair FAQ

Useful answers before service is arranged.

Is the diagnostic really free?

Yes. The initial diagnostic is free. Bricked Labs explains the findings and provides a fixed quote before any paid repair work begins.

Do you have a storefront?

No. Bricked Labs is appointment-based and does not operate a public walk-in retail storefront. Pickup, on-site service, remote support, or an arranged handoff may be used depending on the job.

Do you offer pickup or on-site service?

Yes, when practical. The right arrangement depends on the equipment, location, and work involved, so service is confirmed before a pickup or visit is scheduled.

What areas do you serve?

Hands-on work focuses on Mesa, Gilbert, and the broader East Valley. Remote support is available much more broadly, and shipping may be considered when it makes sense.

Do you repair Macs, iPhones, and Android devices?

Yes. Bricked Labs works on Macs and MacBooks, iPhones and iPads, and Android phones and tablets. Apple accessories and wearables are not advertised or accepted for repair at launch.

Can you help remotely?

Yes. Windows, macOS, software, setup, configuration, and many troubleshooting issues can be handled remotely when hands-on hardware work is not required.

Do you repair gaming consoles?

Bricked Labs offers console troubleshooting, cleaning, thermal maintenance, storage work, and straightforward repairs within scope. Microsoldering and board-level console repair are not offered at launch.

Do you work on TVs or other electronics?

Bricked Labs is not positioned as a specialist TV repair company, but other electronics problems are considered case by case. Send the details and you will get an honest scope answer.

Do you recover data?

Bricked Labs handles logical and software-based recovery from readable media, including deleted files, logical corruption, and filesystem problems. Mechanical failures, opened drives, platter work, and cleanroom recovery are referred to a specialist.

Do you do board-level repair?

No. Microsoldering, logic-board repair, and component-level motherboard work are not advertised or offered at launch.

How long will the repair take?

Estimated turnaround is provided after diagnosis and depends on the repair and parts availability. Bricked Labs does not promise a fixed or same-day turnaround before seeing the job.

Can you install customer-supplied parts?

Often, yes, when the part and job are appropriate. The supplied part itself is not warranted by Bricked Labs, but Bricked Labs workmanship involving that part is covered.

Is there a warranty?

Qualifying Bricked Labs-supplied parts and workmanship are covered for 90 days. Customer-supplied parts and data-recovery outcomes are not covered by the standard repair warranty.

Do you start work before I approve the price?

No. Paid work starts only after you approve the fixed quote. If added work or cost is discovered later, Bricked Labs asks for approval before proceeding.
