Problems we fix

If any of these sound like your shop, we should talk.

Practical internal software for shops tired of spreadsheets, paper logs, disconnected machines, and overpriced enterprise systems.

I have three guys filling out the same form on paper, then someone retypes it into Excel.
I don't know if my machines are running until I walk out to the floor.
My operators write notes on the run sheet and they're gone by the next shift.
Quality issues come up and we can't trace which job, which operator, which machine.
When my best machinist retires, half the shop's knowledge walks out with him.
I'm paying $400/month for software that's missing the one feature I actually need.

Why Bricked Labs

Built by someone who will actually walk your floor.

No buzzwords, no vendor runaround. Just software that fits how your shop already runs.

Local and on-site.

Mesa-based. I can walk your shop floor, not just screenshare.

Shop-floor minded.

Designed for operators with grease on their hands, not office workers.

No enterprise contracts.

Month-to-month or one-time builds. No bloated vendor lock-in.

You own the data.

Your shop's data lives on your hardware or hosting, not locked in a vendor cloud.

Built for real operations

Real tools, already built and running.

Proof we have shipped practical shop-floor software — without turning the homepage into a screenshot dump.

Honest fit

Not a fit if...

  • You need enterprise ERP integration with SAP, Oracle, or Plex
  • You have 50+ machines and a dedicated IT department
  • You want a vendor who'll be on Zoom every Tuesday for a year
  • You need fully audited ITAR/DFARS infrastructure before any discovery work

These are real needs — they just need a bigger firm than Bricked Labs.

Common questions

Plain answers, no sales pitch.

How fast can you start?

Most reviews happen within a week. After a 20-minute review I can usually tell you a real timeline within a few days.

Do I have to sign a long contract?

No. Most work is month-to-month or a one-time build. No enterprise lock-in.

Do you charge for the first review?

No. The first 20 minutes are free. If software is not the right fix I will say so.

Do I own the software and the data?

Yes. The code, the data, and the hosting can all live with you. No vendor cloud trap.

Do I need to be in the East Valley?

Mesa-based work is easiest because I can walk your floor. Remote work for the wider Phoenix metro and shops a little further out is on the table too.

What if I just need a small fix instead of a whole app?

That is the most common request. Plenty of jobs are a $500-$2,000 cleanup of one workflow, not a full build.

Send me your worst paper log, broken dashboard, or workflow problem. I'll spend 20 minutes telling you what I'd fix first, what it would probably cost, and whether it's even worth building. No sales pitch.
